Namaaz Dining

Indonesian cuisine is introduced differently; you will discover innovative regional dishes in Namaaz, which claims to be the first molecular gastronomy restaurant in the city. Their 17 set-course dinner emphasizes an approximate three-hour sit-down to respect thoroughly crafted dishes from Chef Andrian. His works are quirkily displayed, such as a dessert that resembles a soap bar complete with memory, called pencuci mulut, meaning ‘dessert’ in black but roughly equates into ‘mouthwash treat’). Occasionally, the chef extends around tables to prepare exceptional dishes which are quite fun and exciting to see. Prices begin off IDR 1,155,000.

Amuz Gourmet Restaurant

Amuz Gourmet offers a stylish Parisian fine dining experience in Jakarta’s central hub. Its main indoor dining room is well laden with lovely décor, serving as a perfect spot for celebratory occasions, or just for dining with family and friends. The French restaurant gifts dishes created by Chef and creator Gilles Marx, who uses fresh ingredients throughout. Lunch options include a two-course encounter at IDR 250,000 or some fancier four-course lunch in IDR 350,000.

E&O (Eastern & Asian) Jakarta

E&O showcases the collaborative work between Chef Will Meyrick (of Bali’s famous Sarong and Mama San restaurants) along with the founders of one of Jakarta’s popular bistros, Loewy. Its title reflects the excellent menu offerings, a mixture of Will Meyrick advanced takes on Southeast Asian dishes, especially Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious selections incorporate a rendition of Hainan chicken rice, served with miso broth, or Thai-style stir-fried shrimps with wild ginger and holy basil. Costs range from IDR 45,000 for a number of starters and sides to 250,000 for a roasted suckling pig. What’s more, you can choose a fantastic selection of wines and cocktails from a nicely curated wine list.

Turkuaz

Turkuaz serves Turkish cuisine in South Jakarta and also is the must-go place from the city for rich and tasty baklavas. Turkish Chef and owner Sezai Zorlu brings his family recipes, some of which are infrequent and that he strives to keep living. Chateau Blanc is an elegant place to eat that presents classical French flair in a snowy mansion setting. The insides are adorned with chic white furniture and modern art pieces. The primary floor overlooks a lighted outdoor backyard pool. However, private dining with golden tones resembles the aristocratic appeal of 18th century Europe. The menu displays the works of Chef Renaud Le Rasle, who offers special five and also six-course degustation menus with wine pairings out there.

Lara Djonggrang

Lara Djonggrang presents an exotic, traditional dining experience in an authentic Dutch colonial-era mansion. It is one of the standalone-theme restaurants owned and operated from Tugu Hotels, and follows the rich artwork collections and décor the brand is best known for. Each corner shows rare historical art pieces, such as an impressive five-metre-tall statue of Majapahit princess Lara Djonggrang. Notable dishes include Pasar Nelayan Kampung Tugu, a fish platter served as a massive plate resembling a boat. Still, another is Pasar Satay which lets you indulge in several varieties of the most preferred Indonesian grilled meat delicacy. Established degustation menus range from IDR 220,000 to IDR 265,000.

Takumi

As one of Jakarta’s top and many authentic robatas and sushi restaurants, Takumi presents fresh seafood dishes brought directly from the Tsukiji fish market in Tokyo. A group of chefs ensure genuine tastes and present and techniques signature dishes that the likes of Kinki fish along with Kobe beef beans. The restaurant is spacious, with dark floor tiles, wooden furniture and typical Japanese wood motifs throughout. You may also have a chair by the little sushi counter and request the Omakase menu to get tasting snacks suggested by the chef. A la carte items vary from IDR 25,000 to IDR620,000.
